my name is Emily, and I'm a person that you can do one of two things with. the first is to pass me off as uninteresting and dull. the second is to think I'm completely awesome and love me. really I don't have a say in what you think of me; I'm the same for every person. it's you that decides if you like me or not. so if I'm uninteresting and dull to you, then you're probably not the kind of person I enjoy being with either, and we're better off not knowing each other in the first place.
with that said, I can move on and talk about myself, I guess. I could do the usual "I've taken dance for what will be 9 years, I have an awesome boyfriend named Kaleb and I love him incredibly, I love Coldplay and if you don't like them you can leave, etc. etc. etc." but I won't because that bores me just as much as you.
I like the little things. I like snowflakes and sprinkles and fireworks that you can feel in your chest and sleeping in underwear and the smell of baking cookies and watching leaves be picked up in the wind. there are all kinds of magical things that only a few people see. I guess that's the romantic in me. I'd like to believe that the world is beautiful and art isn't only under every stone but every stone itself. but it's just so much prettier when you look at it that way.
I also hate the little things. if you can't spell or choose to spell incorrectly there's an automatic 12 point deduction. where these points are being kept track of I couldn't say, but there's a scoreboard around here somewhere. the only excuse anyone has to misspell terribly or use incorrect grammar is if English is not their first language.
I want to meet as many people as I can, and learn anything possible from them. not only that but change them in turn, even if it's just a little bit.
my journal is friends only, and I'd really appreciate it if you would comment and ask me if I would friend you before actually friending me, just because I'm very picky about my friends list. thanks.
